Folks are seriously creeped out after watching a video that shows what animals look like without their hair. The clip, which was shared on Reddit, features different creatures like bears, chimpanzees, parrots, owls, raccoons, and hedgehogs completely bald. It’s fair to say that most people weren’t ready for how strange they’d look.
At first, it seems like shaved animals might not be that odd, but the video quickly proves otherwise. With some eerie music playing in the background, it almost feels like these animals have been caught in a way they weren’t meant to be seen kind of like they’re in their underwear.
Hairless birds stood out the most, and many viewers agreed they looked way more aggressive without their feathers. One person said the owl looked like some kind of alien, while another joked that the featherless parrot seemed ready for a fight. “The birds were freaky, but that owl was next-level weird,” one comment read.
Several viewers pointed out that parrots sometimes pluck their feathers out of stress or boredom, a reminder to keep those little guys entertained at home.
The hairless hedgehog also got a lot of attention, with some comparing it to something a little less cute. One person joked, “That hedgehog looks like a scrotum,” and others quickly chimed in with similar thoughts.
Some questioned why these animals were hairless to begin with. “Who’s shaving all these animals?” one person wondered. Another asked if maybe the animals had surgery or something that required shaving.
In the end, people couldn’t help but laugh, imagining how freaked out these animals might be if they ever saw us without hair. And while no one’s expecting our furry friends to go bald anytime soon, there was a shared hope that we never see the day when all animals end up hairless!
