Tana Mongeau isn’t shy about her success, and she’s got the numbers to back it up. The popular YouTuber and internet personality has recently revealed just how much she’s made on OnlyFans, silencing the haters along the way.

For anyone who’s not familiar, OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform where creators can charge fans to access exclusive content. This often includes adult material, from photos and videos to custom requests.

At 26, Mongeau, who first made a name for herself on YouTube, also co-hosts the podcast Cancelled with Brooke Schofield. She’s been open about her choice to join OnlyFans, explaining her reason in an interview with The Cut: “If I’m out partying in a see-through shirt and someone’s taking pictures, I figured I might as well make money off it.”

Born in Nevada, Mongeau’s decision came after years of being sexualized online without her consent. “Eventually, I was like, ‘I might as well make a million dollars off it,’” she said. And she wasn’t exaggerating. Back in 2020, Mongeau posted on Instagram a glass trophy labeled “Congratulations Top Earner” alongside the staggering amount of $3 million.

During a 2023 interview with Forbes, she shared more of her perspective: “As a woman, people often doubt your abilities, so you’ve got to work a little harder to prove yourself. I wanted success, and I got it, but it wasn’t easy. If I followed all the rules, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. And trying to fit into the image of a ‘perfect businesswoman’? That’s just not me.”

Though Mongeau’s career has seen major success, it hasn’t been without bumps. One of the most talked-about moments was in 2018, when she hosted TanaCon after clashing with VidCon. It ended up being a disaster—thousands of fans waited in the heat, and the event was shut down on the first day.

In 2020, she came under fire for attending parties during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, ignoring safety rules. Mongeau later apologized, admitting she’d been “careless and irresponsible.”

Despite the controversies, Mongeau’s fanbase remains huge across social media, keeping her at the top of her game.
